TerraNet Portal Site.

[My connection to the World Wide Web  comes from this company(TerraNet) one of the best ISPs around in Lebanon. The service I subscribe to is called Wireless Broadband which they offer through their partenership with GDS. This service is a form of WiMax which is the successor to WiFi the current wireless standard. The country wide coverage set up by GDS makes Lebanon the first country in the world to have nationwide WiMax ready wireless already  deployed and up and running.

What would be interesting to follow is the release of DSL service from Ogero early next year.

With the release from Ogero expected to be competitive in terms of pricing, prices of broadband access in Lebanon are set to come down from their current level at 50 USD/month for a very basic 128 kbps connection ]
